Our parent volunteer led our students to create unique and interesting items including seed bombs, dried bouquets, chutneys, seed packets and planted herbs amongst lots of other beautiful products.
We are incredibly excited to continue to build on this work alongside our DofE Year 10s who will be supporting our volunteer with the gardening club. The aim is to provide a sustainable project that enables expansion to an existing well-accessed club and to provide a ‘team’ who will develop their own skill sets whilst also developing valuable in-school provision where we can also support our Food Tech dept.
A huge congratulations to some of our EGS boys who took part in the London Mini-Marathon yesterday representing Enfield. An amazing show of determination, effort and solid training……
Well done Boys.
Here’s Oliver (Yr9) with his medal 🙂
Another good week for our EGS Football Teams!
**Spectators are welcome at all our fixtures, so come along and give the boys your support!

Today we see the beginning of Black History Month and EGS is celebrating this by delivering a full timetable of related events throughout October;
BHM lessons, assemblies, international dishes, baking, form time activities, art competition (portrait of an inspirational black/ethnic role model) and related content reading.
We are also proud to be receiving special guests (Leon McKenzie, DJ Spoony and Michael Duberry) to talk about their experiences followed by Q&A sessions.

Penguin Books and Authors Aloud UK invited our Year 8s to take part in a virtual schools event this week with author @FemiFadugba to celebrate the publication of his brilliant debut novel ‘The Upper World’ .
A big thank you to them and our teachers for this wonderful opportunity.
