Welcome to Enfield Grammar School Sixth Form

We are a non-selective comprehensive school situated in the London Borough of Enfield. The school’s catchment area is diverse and has an intake of 180 boys each year.

Our Sixth Form is now a mixed cohort (boys and girls) comprising of approximately 230 students with the majority having remained with Enfield Grammar from Year 11.

At Enfield Grammar Sixth Form our aim is  for all our students to leave with the highest possible outcomes in their chosen subject areas  and to move onto the best that Higher Education, Apprenticeships or other pathways have available for each individual; students are able to select from an academic, vocational or mixed pathway.

We want the students to achieve success and to secure excellent and appropriate qualifications for the next stage of their education or employment. We will ensure they receive excellent teaching and high levels of support and guidance. This alone however will not be enough. Students will need to take responsibility for their learning, work hard, be organised, respond positively to challenges and play an active role within school life.
Working together, we will build them a wide and varied portfolio of skills and experience, combined with academic success, which will benefit them when applying for jobs or university.

The Sixth Form is not the final destination for our students and we invest into the Progression of students beyond sixth form from the start of the application process. We use VESPA (Vision, Effort, Systems, Practice, Attitude) as a way to communicate and share this aim with students and parents.

Our excellent A Level results for 2025 put us in the top 25% of schools nationally with 77% of students accepting their first choice of university. Our collaboration with Enfield County School means we offer an unrivalled range of subjects. All students joining us in Year 12 will be given a brand new Google Chromebook to support their studies.
