As we prepare for the exciting transition of your son from primary to secondary school, I wanted to provide you with some important information and dates:
Transition Information Evening – Thursday 18 June 2026 at 6.30pm UPPER School
The evening is designed for parents and boys to meet key individuals at the School and gain further insight into what to expect come September. It is a great opportunity to familiarise yourselves with our community and ethos and listen to our key speakers.

Transition ‘About Me’ Interviews – Tuesday 23 June 2026 UPPER School
‘About Me’ Transition Interviews – Tuesday 23 June 3.30pm to 4.45pm – Upper School
This is an opportunity to meet some of our staff and for them to get to meet your son. 15 minute timeslots allocated.
•Surnames starting with A, B, C or D – 3.30pm
•Surnames starting with E, F, G, H, I, J or K – 3.45pm
•Surnames starting with L, M, N, O, P or Q – 4.00pm
•Surnames starting with R, S, T, U, V, W X, Y or Z – 4.15pm
Year 6 Induction/Transition Day – Thursday 2 July 2026 9.15am-2.30pm LOWER School
On this day, all boys who will be joining Enfield Grammar School in Year 7 are invited to spend the day with us. It is an invaluable experience for your son to get a taste of school life, start building connections with his peers and teachers, and familiarising himself with the school and facilities.
Please arrive at 9.15am at the LOWER School Ball Hall.
Please collect your son from the Lower School, Parsonage Lane at 2.30pm.
Summer School – Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 July 8.45am-1.30pm – LOWER School
A further opportunity to build confidence, friendships and familiarity ahead of September. Packed lunch, snacks and drink required. Charge of £10 per day per student.
