Did you see the article in last week’s Enfield Independent newspaper? If not, here is the full article online:
Musical brothers whose talent took them to Glastonbury donated some of their fee to EGS help the next generation of young musicians at their old school.
The band even gave the school a shout out during their Glastonbury performance, adding: “It’s important – give young people an instrument and give them a chance.”
Congratulations to all of our Y10 DofE boys – they were challenged, they survived and they conquered!
Hiking several kilometres further than in their practice, all groups made it to the camping area, pitched their tents, cooked their meals and experienced an independent outdoor experience. And we are pleased to say, that the next day, they all made it back in one piece!
Now, who’s up to take on the challenge of the Silver Award??!
Summertime at school.
We’ve had some warm and sunny days recently and, for school staff, it’s lovely to sit back and watch the students playing on the lawn in our beautiful lower school grounds.
Thank you Mrs Chrysanthou for sharing the photos 🙂

On Wednesday night, our very own Shakithyan performed at the Dugdale Centre as part of Enfield Music Service’s solo Vocal Recital.
He did brilliantly, singing Save Your Tears by the Weeknd.
Shakithyan is the first student to represent EGS at these yearly events and we hope he is first of many!
