We believe that having passion creates a rounded character. In learning, sports, music, the arts and beyond, we encourage our students to pursue their interests with enthusiasm and a genuine love for what they do.
We also believe that boys who compete become men who have a strong sense of ambition. Our sporting success and range of sporting facilities are second to none across North London. EGS Alumni regularly represent local, national, and international teams in a variety of sports including Rugby, Cricket, Football and Athletics. We believe that academic excellence and sporting success can go hand in hand and we work hard to develop personalised learning pathways so that our elite sportsmen can be successful both on and off the field.
Students will soon be receiving an invitation email to sign up for one of our new sessions taking place every Friday afternoon. Every Y7 to 10 student must choose ONE session to attend, which we think will be a very enjoyable and uplifting way to end the week!
Here is what is on offer:
Enfield Grammar School is delighted to congratulate the outgoing Year 11 cohort on their excellent GCSE attainment. We are particularly pleased that a record 74% of students have secured grades 4 and above in both English and Maths, a pivotal achievement in opening doors to future success.
We are incredibly proud of how hard our students have worked towards their outcomes, be it the strings of top grades achieved by many or the excellent progress which reflects huge personal success for others, particularly when achieved in the face of challenging personal circumstances. So many of our students have truly embodied our school motto of “Tant Que Je Puis” (“As much as I can”).
We are pleased to have begun enrolling both our own students and, now in our third year of accepting female applicants, we are offering a warm welcome to students from other schools. We have worked hard to make sure our Sixth Form offers students the very best chance of success:

Mr Lamb, Headteacher at Enfield Grammar School, commented:
“I am really delighted to see the hard work of our boys come to fruition. I offer my heartfelt congratulations to the young men we have had the privilege to nurture these last five years. As ever, we are incredibly proud to have witnessed their journeys from boy to the fine young men they have become and we look forward to witnessing their continued academic and personal successes whether with us or in pastures new. We have really valued the partnership and support of the parents of our students and we thank our teachers and support staff for their ongoing commitment to the boys’ achievements.”
