KS3 Music Concert

23rd February 2023Mrs S Field

The KS3 concert, just before the half-term break, was a complete sell out, with standing room only !

The year 7 choir did a fantastic job and raised the roof with their performance.
Not to be outdone, the years 7,8 and 9 bands rocked the house, and with great refreshments supplied by FEGS the night was a roaring success. 👏
And Mr Escott was pretty awesome too! 😀

EGS Busks in Enfield Town

7th December 2022Mrs S Field
Yesterday, our music department and students went ‘busking’ in Palace Gardens. Despite the freezing cold, icy fingers and blue lips ❄️❄️ we managed to make £144 for the North London Hospice charity. 🎶

The Christmas Concert Rocked!

5th December 2022Mrs S Field
The Christmas concert was a huge success with all the Year Bands, Choir and many others performing brilliantly. Carols were sung and mulled wine was quaffed! 🎶🍷
As well as a wonderful night had by all, our FEGS bar was kept busy and whose takings will be invested back into supporting the students as well as HSBC matching everything made in our raffle, pound for pound.
All in all quite a night !
Thank you to everyone who came along to the evening and to our students for all their performances.

⚽ 5 Games. 5 Finals. 5 Wins. 5 Borough Cups!🏆
🔥 EGS on fire!

Our Y10 football team made it four Borough Cup wins for the school last week with an incredible come‑from‑behind 4–1 victory!
And they didn’t have long to wait for company…
Yesterday, our Y7s delivered a brilliant performance of their own, winning their cup final 4–2!

That means 5 out of 5 Borough Cups this year — a clean sweep!

Huge congratulations to all the boys who represented the school so brilliantly, and a massive thank‑you to our Sports Department for their hard work and support – definitely a reflection of our school motto: As Much As I Can’!
