It was fantastic to have so many families visit us on our prospective Parents Open-Evening yesterday. Both sites were buzzing with fun activities, questions and answers and lots of clear reasons given about why Enfield Grammar School is the best place for boys to come and get an all-round quality education and have lots of fun along the way.
We want our boys to remember their school days fondly, and remember the staff that work in the school as adults that know them and care for them. Every conversation is an intervention; every correction follows a connection and every boy is allowed to be themselves.
We’ve got lots of families visiting us over the next few weeks to see us in action, as choosing a school is an important decision and Open-Evenings are just a glimpse of what a school is really like.
If you couldn’t make the evening and would like a tour with your Year 5 or Year 6 son then please contact the Headteacher, Mr Lamb, at [email protected].
Come and see what we’ve got to offer; we think you’ll be impressed.
We’ve put together a few images of before and during the evening and must give a special mention to:
- our wonderful piano player, Felix
- our guitar busker, Charlie
- our Duke of Edinburgh students supervising the marshmallow toasting
- the superb speeches by Kyan and Heath
- the student-led band, Space Goose, jamming all evening at Lower
- our student tour guides
- our student traffic controllers
- student helpers in each department
- and lastly, but not at all least, to all our dedicated staff
