Black History Month in Food:
Students in Years 7 -10 celebrated the rich diversity of Afro Caribbean cuisine and prepared dishes ranging from Spicy Mango Puree with Flatbreads to Plantain Cake, Chicken Stew, Banana Fritters, Jollof Rice, Ghanaian Meat pie and Caribbean Cookies!
Delicious! – if only you could smell what we can smell here in the kitchen!
Music GCSE and Music Tec A level students attended a concert of African Music yesterday at Forty Hall and had a go on the djembes!
A wonderful afternoon learning about traditions in African music and how these traditions have developed with 21st century classical music.
Thank you to all the wonderful families we saw last week at our Open-Evening.
There was a really positive buzz in the air and we look forward to welcoming some of you next year!
Thank you also to all our staff who all put such a fantastic effort into showcasing their departments.
