Year 9 have been looking at and learning about Optical Art with Mr Chrysanthou, in particular studying artists; Bridget Riley (English painter known for her optical illusion art) Victor Vasarely (Hungarian-French painter known for being a leader of the Op Art movement)
Initially, designing some small examples to practise the technique, they are now creating their interpretations.
These are a few examples of the beginning stages of some of their artwork which is looking really good – can’t wait to see some of the finished pieces..
