Empathy Week is an invitation for young people across the world to put empathy into action, developing the skills of leadership and resilience along the way. Together, we are building the #EmpathyGeneration.
Empathy = noun – the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. To share someone else’s feelings and experiences by imagining what it would be like to be in that persons’ situation.

This video was created by Shawn Luchman (Year 9) for his Citizenship Campaign Project.
He chose to raise awareness about racism and the importance of eradicating racism, in all its ugly forms, from society. He first researched the topic, wrote a script and finally compiled this video. I think you will agree, it is a very well executed piece of work with a sincere message.
Well done Shawn.
N.B. The campaign and hashtag mentioned in this video are not real – they are used for the purpose of creating a replica of a real-life campaign
